HCAS would like to give a big thank you to these wonderful young animals lovers! Weir High School, Oak Glen High School, Weir Middle School, and Madonna High School all competed to see who could gather that most donations for the shelter! How great! They brought 2 truck loads full of food, treats, toys, collars, leashes, beds, and cleaning supplies plus some donations to help us pay for our vet bills too! We would like to give special thanks to the 4 Weir High Seniors who started the challenge: Marcello Magnone, Ryleigh Glaspell, Chuck Custer, and Anthony McCartney! We would also like to thank their wonderful teacher Vince McIntosh for helping them and the principals from each for encouraging their students to donate: Mrs. Carla Carinci-Bell (Oak Glen High School), Ms. Sarah Parsons (Weir Middle School), Mr. Lesho (Madonna High School). THANK YOU to all of those who participated in the challenge as well! All the employees and animals felt like it was Christmas! You guys are amazing!
